Secure funding to support core programs from philanthropists, foundations, and partner organizations
Identify and develop investment opportunities for strategic partnerships
Create and implement a process for rigorous due diligence in the development of potential partners and programs; build and execute a strong framework for making and evaluating investment decisions
Oversee Mosaic’s financial partnerships and philanthropic investments, effectively communicating program performance to partners and key stakeholders
Inspire and oversee Mosaic’s core team to execute responsibilities and achieve organizational vision
Oversee and provide professional leadership to the Steering Committee, identifying new members, creating long lasting relationships with lay leaders.
Collaborate with Steering Committee members to set priorities and achieve goals; continue to expand Steering Committee membership
Serve as the chief public advocate and spokesperson for Mosaic United in order to build brand awareness, represent goals to supporters, generate enthusiasm, and attract the widest interest and support
Qualifications & Skills
Experience and comfort working with high-level donors and philanthropists
Proven track record of successful donor cultivation, stewardship, and major gift solicitation
Passion for the Mosaic United mission and ability to promote and communicate organizational impact to internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership and proven ability to manage effective teams
Skilled at developing partnerships with lay leaders, donors and board members
Highly credible and respected in the North American Jewish community
Affinity for Jewish life, learning, the State of Israel, and Jewish professional service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong public speaking and presentation abilities
Ability to inspire internationally diverse audiences
Strong interpersonal, political, and diplomatic skills
Ability to maintain and model the highest professional, ethical, and personal standards
