Fortifying the country’s premier Jewish leadership development program
From June to November 2016, Evolve Giving Group team members partnered with Social Profit Ventures on a strategic planning process for The Jewish Federations of North America’s National Young Leadership Cabinet (NYLC). During a time when new leadership development programs were flooding the marketplace, the initiative’s goal was to maximize opportunities and overcome challenges to ensure NYLC strengthened its position as the country’s premier leadership development platform.
After launching the new program in August 2017, NYLC recruited its largest class in years. With the adoption of this 21st-century cabinet experience, the organization is poised to achieve ultimate impact as the community’s most vibrant and recognized leadership development program, training and inspiring a dynamic cohort of young volunteer talent that works with professional partners to strengthen Jewish life around the world.
The consultancy team worked with The Jewish Federations of North America to develop a new curriculum and theory of change model for the program. The research and development phase included interviews with over 40 key stakeholders, as well as a partnership with a strategic working group of federation professionals and lay leaders to ensure long-term impact.
