Consultant, Grants Services

Jennifer Valentine

Bloomfield Hills, MI

Fundraising Consultant Jennifer is thrilled to support Evolve clients with grant research and proposal writing. Through her meticulous research, compelling storytelling, and expert proposal writing, she has brought in grants ranging from $1,000 to $3 million. Her success rate of securing grants is approximately 65%, which is well above industry standards. Jennifer has experience supporting organizations at all stages; she’s helped start-up organizations build their grants program from the ground up and also supported legacy organizations as they leveled up their grant fundraising. Jennifer’s clients appreciate her keen listening skills, solution-oriented lens, and collaborative approach to grant writing and fundraising.

Outside of grants work, Jennifer also brings a wealth of experience in board development, strategic planning, and fundraising for new or early-stage organizations. Jennifer is the former Executive Director of the start-up nonprofit Pandemic Parenting, which offered free science-based resources to parents and children to help them cope with the challenges of lockdown. As the exclusive leader outside the board of directors, she wore all the hats–recruiting and training the board, creating the strategic plan, and leading the fundraising strategy. She has helped set up many new organizations for success by creating and training their first board, facilitating a strategic planning process, and building individual giving programs. Jennifer currently serves as a parent volunteer at the Notre Dame Preparatory School Advancement Office.
